If you have added your license key but you’re getting an error message saying “This license is not valid”, try these steps to troubleshoot:
- Firstly, double check that the license key is correct.
- Next, try deleting the license key and clicking Save Changes. Then re-enter the license key and click Save & Re-check All Licenses.
- In versions of 1.8.1.7 and above, Charitable has a “tools” menu. Check the connection to our website via the “Test SSL Connections” button in the “System Info” tab. If you run into errors here, you might need to contact your hosting company to make sure your server/website can communicate with outside servers.
- Finally you can reach out to us for support to confirm your license is valid, and then troubleshoot from there.
