Introduced in Charitable 1.8.1.10 – under “Advanced Settings”, is an option to enable or disable ability for admin users to add new legacy campaigns (the only method of creating campaigns prior to version 1.8.0).

In the future, this setting will be on by default on new Charitable installs. If a user wants the ability to create a campaign with the legacy method then this checkbox will need to be unchecked to see a “add legacy” link on the campaigns page in Charitable.

Important: Disabling legacy campaigns does NOT disable the ability to edit legacy campaigns already existing in Charitable. You can still edit these campaigns just as you always have. Nothing changes.
